I’m Karen. I love coffee, good conversation, punny jokes, and reading epic fantasy novels. I’m a registered nurse, a mom, a wife and a health coach.

It wasn’t long ago that I found myself exhausted beyond belief, struggling with chronic fatigue, depression and anxiety. I reached out to my conventional medicine for help and was able to feel slightly better. But my doctor told me I was “pretty healthy”. She wasn’t concerned about the things I was noticing. I received no support on stress management, diet or exercise. I decided, that for me, “pretty healthy” was still pretty miserable and that was NOT how I wanted to spend the rest of my life.

I started to explore and experiment with diet, nutrition, stress management and movement. These changes did SO MUCH for my energy, mood and overall feeling of wellbeing. I clearly saw how healthy habits and lifestyle modifications make a HUGE difference. It also became clearer how little support there is in conventional medicine for people wanting to make lifestyle changes. Because habit change is HARD. No joke. But that’s where the real change happens.  I wanted to be able to walk others through the process of healing so I now am a Certified Mastery & Transformational Health Coach.

I am passionate about working with moms who work in healthcare who are struggling with exhaustion and overwhelm. I help them effortlessly redesign their life to create abundant energy, health and purpose.

I deeply believe that our families, our community and the healthcare system is desperate for women who are truly empowered to live their lives to the fullest. Women who are supported to confidently pursue their passions in a way that is joyful and sustainable. My mission is to help make this possible for me and for you.

I have a lot of things I’m working on- parenting, healthy eating, non-toxic living, career growth, physical strength, stress management, and overall authentic living. But just like you, I’m a work in progress. I still sometimes make mac and cheese on busy week nights, let my kids play video games, lose my cool and get swindled by the donuts in the break room. Just keepin’ it real. We are in this together sister.
